weston mural / chasing wind [2025]
Crossroads Theatre has collaborated with a team of professional artists and community members to create a sound piece designed to accompany the newest public art in Weston, Toronto.
The Weston Mural Sound Piece was designed to increase access for members of the Blind and Low Vision Community, while also offering a unique audio experience for anyone engaging with the 260 ft mural at the Weston Go/Up Station titled “Chasing Wind (2025)” by Brother Moises.
It offers an additional way to engage with visual art through sound. In Sound Piece, you’ll expereince a guided tour by artist Brother Moises that features integrated audio description and an incredible soundscape of natural, musical, and environmental sounds created by River Oliveria.” – Crossroads Theatre Website
